Rechargeable zinc-air batteries that can store three times the energy of a lithium-ion battery while costing half as much are currently being development by Swiss company ReVolt.

Long-lived nuclear batteries powered by hydrogen isotopes are in testing for military applications, though I doubt you'll ever see them for 0.20 € in 10K quantities on Digikey.
