NXP LPC1300 Microprocessors

ARM Cortex M3 32-Bit MCU with 72MHz performance and up to 32KB Flash/8KB SRAM.

LPC1300 (33-Pin QFN Package)NXP's new LPC1300 family of 32-bit Cortex M3 MCUs are some of the most inexpensive and power-efficient 32-bit ARM-based MCUs currently available.  This family is particularly interesting for use in wireless sensor nodes, and in very price and energy-sensitive applications.  Capable of running at speeds up to 72MHz, and with retail prices in the 2 € range (!!!), they're worth very seriously considering for a wide variety of applications. Don't underestimate their comparitively small flash/SRAM size (up to 32KB flash and 8KB SRAM) ... a lot of functionality can be squeezed into 32KB!

The LPC1300 family supports all of the primary serial buses, including UART, I2C, and SPI, along with a 10-bit ADC.  The LPC1342 and LPC1343 devices also feature USB 2.0 support, and include HID and Mass Storage profiles built into the ROM, making USB easier to use than ever (with the added bonus of saving a bit of valuable flash memory as well)!
