LPC246x/247x Family
72 MHz, 32-bit microcontroller with ARM7TDMI-S core
The NXP LPC2468, LPC2470 and LPC2478 are 32-bit RISC microprocessors with ARM7TDMI-S cores, and are essentially an updated version of the earlier LPC237x chipset, with a few new interesting features. They contain an impressive 512kB internal Flash ROM (except the LPC2470 which has no internal Flash), have 98kB internal SRAM, support the use of external SDRAM, SRAM and Flash if you need more storage space or memory, and can run at a CPU speed of up to 72MHz.
These well rounded chips also include a built-in LCD Controller (2470 and 2478 only), full-speed USB2.0, as well as USB-Host and USB OTG, an SD/MMC memory-card interface, 10/100 Ethernet MAC interface with DMA, two CAN 2.0b channels, four UARTS (one with a full modem interface), three I2C serial interfaces, three SPI serial interfaces, one I2S interface, a 10-bit ADC with 8 channels, a 10-bit DAC, four 32-bit timers, PWM, a real-time clock with battery backup, and an impressive 160 fast GPIO (general purpose Input/Output) pins.
